The Lonely Visitor

When the internet was invented, it occupied a vast portion of the world, invisible as it may be. It sowed seeds of unhappiness in empty hearts that long for connection.

Humanity was made to believe that the internet is a vehicle that transports us towards where we want to go, who we want to meet, what we want to know.

But it is 2018 and internet has not replaced the warmth next to a loved one, the pleasure of sitting inside a theater, the joy of shared laughter, the roar in a championship game, the deafening silence of caffeine, and the relief in discovering a truth.

You are here on this page because, in one way or another, you and I share the same loneliness.

It could be that one or both of us are missing distant loved ones, are not considering live performances, have no one to laugh with, cannot afford championship games, consoling ourselves with caffeine, searching for truth, or simply trying to build connections.

I wish us luck!
